Wow.. what a year it has been. Never did I imagine that 2015 would be a year of such change, but it truly has been quite the ride. This year has definitely had its ups and downs, but in the end I am reminded of what is most important, and left excited for what this next year holds.
When the year started...
I should warn you in advance - this is going to be a long one. It's going to be short on text but incredibly full of pictures... of Clark and I. If that doesn't just make you jump for joy, this might not be the post for you. It is however one of my favorite posts I've ever done for one simple reason..
So I know what you're thinking - Where the heck have I been? Things have been absolutely crazy over here. We spent three weeks traveling, I started a new job, constant wedding planning, and really just living. I know this would typically mean that I have a ton to blog about, and that's true, but it has created an internal struggle for me. Do I spend time living, or writing about it? I'd like to have a balance but it is truly so hard. It seems as though any time I get a moment to just sit, I want to turn everything off and rest.
I really do love to write however, and it's been an incredibly special journey building this blog. So what does all of this mean? I'm going to get better. I'm going to put myself on a schedule and set aside time for me to focus on something I love. Thank you for all the support and sticking with me even when I've been silent for months..
This talkative girl is back!
It finally feels like fall here in Milwaukee, so to celebrate Clark and I spent our Saturday out and about taking it all in. We started by driving an hour north to a place called Holy Hill. We walked around the top of this hill where a large church sits, and admired the beautiful scenery below. We could see all of the color variations in the trees and the empty spaces filled with corn fields. The air was crisp and cold so high up, so we made our way down and headed towards our intended destination.
This is a representation of who I am, and a few of the things I love. I am excited to share with you a little bit about my life, and glad you're along for my journey!
